The meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan Yu Jun was held at the Development Strategy Center.

The head of the center, Eldor Tulyakov, congratulated Yu Jun on his appointment to a new position and wished him success in further work to strengthen friendship and a comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China.

Mr. Tulyakov acquainted the Ambassador with the activities of the center, the essence of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, and the work carried out to effectively organize public monitoring of the implementation of state programs for its execution.

In turn, Ambassador Yu Jun highly appreciated the work of the Development Strategy Center in preparing information and analytical materials, which are important documents for representatives of the political, scientific, and business circles of the two countries. Along with this, the Ambassador noted that thanks to the activities of the center, partnerships have been established with leading think tanks in China.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on implementing projects aimed at further enhancing collaboration in mutually beneficial areas.
