During the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Samarkand, the leaders of member states put forward important proposals and initiatives.

In particular, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that today the role of the Organization of Turkic States has increased significantly. He also made several suggestions.

“Kazakhstan is the birthplace of the Turkic world, so we attach great importance to the development of comprehensive cooperation. We are interested in further strengthening our relations and bringing them to a new level”, he said.

In this regard, I propose to create a Center for Digitalization of the Organization of Turkic States based on the International Technology Park “Astana Hub”. This structure will enable the development of digital solutions that are so necessary for trade, transport, the use of water resources, information security and other important industries.

For the effective implementation of this initiative, I propose to establish a Venture Fund of the Turkic countries, which will attract investments for important start-up projects.

We also plan to hold the Second Turkic Universiade in Kazakhstan in 2023, which will be held under the auspices of the Turkic University Union.
