The Statistics Agency under the President of Uzbekistan has issued a statistical bulletin “Export-import of goods and services for January-May 2023”.

According to the Agency, Uzbekistan carried out foreign trade turnover with 185 countries during this period.

The indicator of the volume of Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover in the specified period amounted to $25.8 billion, which is 24% higher than the same indicator for 2022.

Exports amounted to $10.5 billion, and imports amounted to $15.3 billion. The growth rates in both categories exceeded 120% compared to the same period in 2022.

According to the study, Uzbekistan exported fruit and vegetable products worth $407.6 million and textiles and textile products worth $1.72 billion during the specified period.
