A ceremony was held at the Tashkent House of Photography to open the exhibition within the republican stage of the traditional contest “The Greatest, the Dearest”. The exhibition, dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, featured sections of fine arts, photography, and design.
The event was organized in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of July 10, 2025, “On the Preparation and Celebration of the Thirty-Fourth Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, and has become one of the essential cultural and spiritual events dedicated to one of the main holidays of the country.

Forty authors took part in the contest, presenting more than 410 works. The jury carefully reviewed each piece, and the best of them were included in the exhibition.
In particular, works of fine art, photography, and design were presented, which at a high artistic level reflected the essence of independence, national values, as well as the creative and hardworking spirit of our people.

“Independence is the greatest value, the source of national identity and confidence in the future”, said Akmal Nur, Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. “Every artwork presented at the exhibition is an artistic interpretation of love for the Motherland and national pride”.

Independence opened the way for our people to renewal, development, and creativity. Thanks to this historic event, today, within the framework of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy, reforms are being implemented aimed at strengthening civil society and the spiritual revival of the nation.
This exhibition, by deeply interpreting the ideas of independence through art, enriches people’s aesthetic thinking and further strengthens admiration for the Motherland.
The contest “The Greatest, the Dearest” serves as an expression of the high mastery of the creative figures of the country, their artistic explorations, and the achievements attained during the years of independence.
