Tashkent hosted the Turkic World Forum “Return to Western Azerbaijan”, organized on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan.
The event was dedicated to Azerbaijan’s historical lands and outstanding examples of its culture and cultural heritage, which were created by the Azerbaijani people over thousands of years in the ancient lands of Western Azerbaijan.

According to Boburbek Ruziyev, a master at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the international summit of the Turkic world, which focused on the cultural aspect, has several goals. One of them is the expansion of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. The summit aims to restore and strengthen the Turkic world, emphasizing economic cooperation. Creating an analog of the European Union on Turkic territory, based on culture, language, and fraternal ties, is also one of the summit’s goals.

The heads of state of Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan note that the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is a special organization that unites peoples with common roots and religion.
As is known, the Turkic Youth Summit is held annually. It promotes the creation of professional networks and strengthens friendships between youth from various Turkic countries.
Young people have the opportunity to communicate, exchange experiences, and learn from each other, which helps strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation within the Turkic community. This allows them to feel their importance and influence in solving global problems and express their ideas and proposals for the development of the Turkic world.
At the event held in Tashkent, the prospects for developing tourism, including ecotourism, gastro-tourism, and linguistic tourism, were discussed.
