Nukus hosted a conference of the Karakalpak Council of the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish”.

The conference was attended by members of the Karakalpak Council of the party, deputies elected to the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and local Councils of people’s deputies, party activists, and media workers.

The activities of the Karakalpak Council of the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish” for the reporting period, issues of worthy participation in the upcoming elections, and the election of delegates to the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish” congress were discussed.

To date, there are 849 primary party organizations in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the number of party members is 44,180 people. The number of members of the party faction in the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan is 11 people, city and district Councils of people’s deputies – 96 people, a total of 107 deputies. 

During the past reporting period, to protect the interests of the electorate, deputies elected from the party to the Jokargy Kenes and local Councils of People’s Deputies sent 2,255 deputy inquiries.

Other issues on the agenda were discussed in detail at the conference, and relevant decisions were made.
