Samarkand hosted the regional final of the tournament “The Future of Our Football” among young people of mahalla.

Traditional tournament, held by the “Mahalla” Republican Public Charity Fund and a number of other organizations, contributes to the promotion of football among young people, upbringing and education of physically healthy and spiritually developed young generation. The event, covered all mahallas of our country, serves to the identification of perspective sportsmen, the general promotion of sport in remote villages and mahallas.

The regional stage was attended the teams that won the district and city stages.

At the end of the competition among players aged 9-10 years the team “Chinor” of “Kulolon” mahalla of Urgut district became the winner. Among the players of 11-12 years the first place was taken by the team “Kelajak” of “Nebusa” mahalla of Bulungur district. The team “Mash’al” of “Uzbekistan” mahalla of Taylak district won the main prize among players aged 13-14 years.
