The French company Montagne et Neige Développement (MND) was declared the winner of the tender announced by the state unitary enterprise Project Office for the construction and operation of the International All Seasonal Resort “Beldersay – Chimgan – Nanai” within the framework of the project “Construction of the Chimgan tourist zone”.

In this regard, at the ninth meeting of Uzbekistan – France Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in Tashkent, a contract was signed for the construction of facilities for the All Season Resort “Chimgan” between the Project Office for the construction and operation of the International All Season Resort “Beldersay – Chimgan – Nanai” and French company Montagne et Neige Développement.

The project will result in the opening of an all-season mountain park of international level, in which visitors will be offered a wide range of different types of outdoor recreation. Thus, it is planned to build an intermediate gondola-type cable car for 10 people (maximum capacity – 2000 people per hour), which will rise to a height of 2515 meters, and a main pendulum-type cable car for 80 people (maximum capacity – 800 people per hour), which will lift visitors to a height of 3309 meters – and will become the highest point in Central Asia, among such objects. More than 20 types of winter and summer attractions will also be organized: XXL Zip Line, Alpine Coaster, Adventure Tower, Tubing, Via Ferrata. 11 ski slopes with different difficulty levels with a total length of more than 20 km, hotel complexes, and cottages for 6,000 tourist places will be opened.

In general, it is planned to create an international resort with a total capacity of 3.1 million people per year and 451 new jobs.
