Almaty, Kazakhstan, hosts the 5th International Forum “Nuclear Physics and Technology”.

The forum includes the 15th International Conference “Nuclear and Radiation Physics,” an international event dedicated to experimental and theoretical research in high-energy physics at the Large Hadron Collider of the European Organization for Nuclear Research.

The Director of the Physicotechnical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor Khusniddin Olimov, is participating in the international forum.

The forum will feature about 300 scientific reports in nuclear physics, energy and materials science, and radiation physics by leading scientists from more than 20 countries.

On the forum’s first day, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Physicotechnical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
