The forum brings the activities of the Women Leaders’ Dialogue to a qualitatively new level

Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Chairperson of the Women Leaders’ Dialogue of Central Asia Tanzila Narbayeva, addressing the Forum of Women Leaders’ Dialogue of Central Asia, warmly welcoming the participants of the platform, noted that several meetings have been held since the establishment of the Dialogue in December 2020. Many current issues of ensuring gender equality, empowering women, as well as prospects for regional cooperation in this direction, were discussed.

The Head of the Upper House of Parliament Tanzila Narbayeva emphasized that the Forum is of particular importance and brings the activities of the Women Leaders’ Dialogue to a qualitatively new level since its members for the first time gathered during the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Leaders.

This is a recognition and support at the highest level of the aspirations of women of Central Asian countries to play an active role in political, socio-economic and cultural-humanitarian processes, thereby contributing to sustainable development, ensuring peace and stability in the region and supporting the efforts of the Heads of Central Asian States in this direction.

It was noted that the adoption of the Forum's Declaration is a unique opportunity to bring to the Heads of the Central Asian States and the general public to contribute to the joint solution of current regional and global issues, to confirm support for efforts to strengthen multifaceted regional cooperation, a common vision on women's empowerment.
