Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further developing friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Proposals were discussed to build up trade and economic cooperation, collaboration in transport and the development of interregional ties.

Views were exchanged on the interaction between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan within the framework of international institutions, as well as on certain issues of regional policy.
