Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador of Russia Oleg Malginov.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties emphasized the readiness of the parties for the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached as a result of meetings and talks between the leaders of the two countries.

Views were exchanged on the current issues of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.

The main attention was paid to the intensification of economic diplomacy, including the adoption of measures to further increase the indicators of trade, attract investment and implement joint projects.

The schedule and agenda of the upcoming events in bilateral and multilateral formats were discussed.

The commitment of Uzbekistan and Russia to the continuation of the dialogue within the framework of international and regional institutions was noted.
