On the eve of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the People’s Republic of China, the First Uzbekistan – China Interregional Forum is taking place in Urumqi with the participation of more than 1,200 businesspeople of the two countries.

B2B and G2B meetings will be held within the framework of the forum, following which several major trade and investment agreements are expected to be signed.

An exhibition of export products of enterprises and entrepreneurs “Made in Uzbekistan” is also organized with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. Its main goal is to demonstrate the development of industrial companies in Uzbekistan and their success in the Chinese market.

It should be noted that more than 2,000 enterprises with Chinese capital are successfully operating in Uzbekistan. Last year, more than 60 projects worth almost $2 billion were successfully implemented with the participation of Chinese companies.
