Abu Dhabi hosted the Grand Slam Judo Tournament.

The competition gives ranking points for the 2028 Summer Olympics.

Almost 220 judokas from 29 countries participated in the tournament. The Uzbekistan national team won two bronze medals and became one of 18 countries that won medals in the team events.

Mukhriddin Tilovov (-66 kg) and Utkirbek Turaboyev (+100 kg) became third, Nurbek Murtazoyev (-90 kg) – fifth, while Kamoliddin Bakhtiyorov, Samariddin Kuchkorov, Durdona Nizomiddinova and Fotima Kuromboyeva entered the top seven.
