The first meeting of the working group of the Uzbekspace Agency and the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held to implement the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes.

According to the Uzbekspace Agency, the participants touched upon the issue of the exchange of experience based on the results of work on projects at the production facilities of JSC National Company KGS and Ghalam, holding consultative meetings on regional regulation of the market for low-orbit satellite communication systems, attracting experts from Kazakhstan to the Scientific and Technical Council of the Uzbekspace Agency. 

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to study the experience of Kazakhstan in monitoring water resources and introduce a system of such monitoring in Uzbekistan.
