Today, as part of the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, events were also held with the participation of the spouses of the heads of delegations who are attending the forum.

The spouse of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, accompanied by the spouse of the President of the People’s Republic of China, Peng Liyuan, together with the spouses of the leaders of other delegations, visited the China National Arts and Crafts Museum.

This museum was founded in 1990, and a new building was built in 2021. The museum displays examples of various areas of ancient and modern applied crafts in China. In particular, it houses a rich collection of artistic ceramics, embroidery, ivory, jade, wood and stone, gold, silver, and copper jewelry, painted vases, and folk artifacts.

The spouse of the President of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and other first ladies examined these exhibits. They were informed about the history of Chinese handicrafts and the ornaments and symbols depicted on objects.

Then, the ladies watched a concert program with examples of Chinese folk opera. The combination of gentle melody and dance embodied the beauty of nature, peace and goodness, and friendship between peoples. The joint photographing of the first ladies with the artists performing at the concert took place.

The meeting was held in a spirit of sincerity and hospitality.
