Kazakhstan hosts the First Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian States.

It is attended by a delegation led by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva.

Thanks to the support of the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev by the heads of neighboring states, political dialogue is being intensified in Central Asia and mutual trust is being strengthened. In the region, the level of bilateral and multilateral cooperation has risen to a new level. Cooperation between the countries of the region, based on friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership, is enhancing. The priority direction is strengthening the inter-parliamentary dialogue, joint elimination of existing obstacles.

On the first day of the forum, the Chairperson of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva took part in an informal meeting of the heads of parliamentary delegations. Then the members of the delegation got acquainted with the historical and cultural monuments of Turkestan.

The participants of the First Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian States are discussing the issues of strengthening comprehensive strategic partnerships, enhancing the role of parliaments in this process.
