The public transport service system is being improved, and the transport fleet is being updated in Samarkand.

At the end of 2022 and the beginning of this year, Maroqand Trans 777 LLC delivered 100 modern Chinese buses running on compressed gas.

The first six electric buses of China’s Yutong arrived in Samarkand as part of the “Green City” project of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. They are located in the fleet of Samarkand Yulovchi Trans SE.

According to the Regional Transport Department, 94 more electric buses will arrive in Samarkand by the end of the year as part of this project.
