First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov has met with the Acting Head of the ADB Resident Mission in Uzbekistan Enrico Pinali.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, ADB is one of the key and strategic partners for Uzbekistan among international financial institutions. It was noted that over 20 projects worth $2.8 billion are currently being implemented.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation on the approval of the new ADB Cooperation Strategy with Uzbekistan for 2024-2027.

ADB will continue to provide advisory support on structural reforms in line with Uzbekistan’s national development strategy.
