Tashkent hosted the second annual awarding ceremony “First Among Equals”, organized by Kursiv Uzbekistan with the support of the Asian Development Bank, Coca-Cola and Huawei.

The award is intended to recognize women’s contributions in various spheres of life and highlight organizations and initiatives that contribute to developing women’s leadership in Central Asia.

Kamola Sobirova, Advisor to the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, noted the importance of women’s role in transforming society.

The event is aimed at fully coinciding with the ADB mission, which actively promotes gender equality and the development of professional opportunities for women.

This year, the “First Among Equals” was awarded to women who have achieved significant success in various fields. The winners were determined by a competition committee, which included heads of various organizations, directions, and experts from different fields.
