Today, competitions in 24 sports will be held as part of the Olympic Games.

Athletes will compete for medals in eight areas. Uzbekistan’s athletes will take part in seven sports competitions. Doston Ruziyev and Khalimajon Kurbanova will defend the country’s honor in judo, Anna Prakaten in rowing, Anastasia Zelinskaya and Ilya Sibirtsev in swimming, Olga Zabelinskaya in cycling, Nigina Uktamova in boxing, Rasuljon Abdurakhmonov, Khabibullo Ergashev and Abdullo Azimov in artistic gymnastics.
