Honored Worker of Culture of Uzbekistan, member of the Creative Union of Uzbekistan Artists, famous calligrapher Habibullo Soliyev was awarded the gold medal of the Academy of Arts for his outstanding contribution to the development of the art of calligraphy and many years of selfless work.

Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan Akmal Nur presented the gold medal to the calligrapher.

Habibullo Soliyev was among the top ten calligraphers by the Devoni writing method at the International Calligraphy Competition in Istanbul in 1998.

In 1999, at the international competition in Lahore, he was awarded the title of “Parveen Raqam” (“Star of the East”) for creating a new style of decorative writing.
