Over the past period this year, the joint Uzbekistan – China enterprise, Ming Yuan Silu Industry LLC, exported products worth USD6 million 605 thousand.

Ming Yuan Silu Industry LLC, located in the industrial zone “A” of Jizzakh, is part of the Uzqurilishmateriallari Association and specializes in producing glass products. Its total cost is $110 million. The production capacity is 24 million square meters of glass per year. This joint venture is unique not only in Uzbekistan, but also in Central Asia, which contributes to the expansion of the company’s activities and increase in exports of products.

Accompanied by responsible officials of Jizzakh Regional Customs Administration, a tour was organized to Ming Yuan Silu Industry LLC to study the proposals and opinions of the entrepreneurs of this joint venture, which has become a major exporter. It should be noted that over the past period this year, Ming Yuan Silu Industry LLC exported products worth more than $6 million 605 thousand to Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

Ming Yuan Silu Industry LLC was granted a privilege – exemption from customs payments of 40 billion UZS to support entrepreneurial activities. Currently, the enterprise employs over 200 people and has created decent conditions for productive work, meaningful leisure, and complete and timely meals for employees. Wages are paid without delay.

At the meeting, the customs officers detailed the ongoing work, new regulations, and their benefits for entrepreneurs.
