Representatives of the Department of Atomic Energy of India met with the Director General of the state enterprise Navoiuran, Jakhongir Khasanov, to discuss export issues.
The agreement signed in 2019 between SE Navoiuran and the Department of Atomic Energy of India is a practical expression of promising cooperation.
SE Navoiuran exported products to Canada, Japan, South Korea, and the United States. According to the agreement, natural uranium will be exported to India from March 2023. Members of the delegation visited the uranium production plant and the finished uranium product shipment site for a control inspection and laboratory examination of the quality of the finished product before it is shipped to India. Uzbekistan specialists familiarized foreign colleagues in detail with the process of production and preparation of products for export.

SE Navoiuran has signed relevant contracts for the export of natural uranium planned for 2022-2026 with such leading world companies as Itochu, Marubeni, Cameco, KHNP. In 2022, export volumes amounted to 118.9 percent, compared to 2021, the growth rate was 110.2 percent.
