On November 11, Samarkand will host the First Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

It will be attended by the Presidents of Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Prime Minister of Hungary and the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held the first meeting within the framework of the Summit with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban. Practical cooperation in the economic sphere is being discussed – the creation of financial mechanisms and favorable conditions for the implementation of joint investment projects.

Uzbekistan – Hungary Business Forum was held within the framework of the Summit. The meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States continues.

Events in Uzbekistan and abroad are covered by over 240 representatives of foreign and 300 representatives of domestic media in more than ten languages.
