As part of the 13th International Music Festival “Sharq Taronalari” an international scientific and practical conference on “Musical culture of Eastern peoples: principles of creative integration in globalization” was held.

The conference was attended by 46 musicologists, folklore scholars, and cultural experts from 32 countries, as well as rectors of prestigious higher education institutions and heads of scientific and creative centers.

The specialists in the field discussed issues such as harmonizing national musical art with the musical culture of the Turkic states and implementing innovative educational technologies on a large scale.

At the same time, within the conference, cooperation agreements were signed with higher education institutions and international research centers in China, France, Russia, Germany, Gambia, Oman, and Jordan. These agreements provide for the implementation of joint creative projects, the organization of international festivals and competitions, masterclasses with professors, and scientific research.

Another significant event of the conference was the “Maqom Capsule” presentation, which collected priceless treasures of Uzbek classical music in one flash drive.
