Uzbekistan delegation led by the head of the Development Strategy Centre E. Tulyakov held a presentation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 for policy-shaping, analytical circles and representatives of the diplomatic corps of Belgium and the Netherlands on the platform of the Brussels Press Club. The event was organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux.

The Executive Director of the Development Strategy Centre E. Tulyakov spoke on the “Development of a free civil society, the transformation of the principles of justice and the rule of law as one of the most important principles for the development of Uzbekistan”.

Mr. E. Tulyakov noted that the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 is aimed at unconditionally ensuring human rights and interests, the formation of an active civil society based on the idea “Human dignity is the most important priority of society and a humane state”.

It was emphasized that in the development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, the people's reforms initiated under the Strategy were continued, in particular, the document combined seven priority areas arising from today's globalization processes, while the tasks set in every direction, clearly defined in the hundred targets.

Another feature of the development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 is that the document is also important because it determines not only development for the next five years, but also a long-term stable strategy for the country.

Following the presentation, Eldor Tulyakov answered in detail the questions of participants and journalists on the reforms envisaged under the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan.
