When it comes to the achievements of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company over the years of independence, it is noted that it was during this period that the 4th Hydrometallurgical Plant (GMZ-4) was built and put into operation.

By the way, the enterprise, which today makes a significant contribution to the economy of the country, was built and launched in a short time thanks to the selfless work of the team, employees of all its workshops. Technological processes at the plant are carried out using modern equipment manufactured in Finland, Canada, and Australia.

“Thirteen years have passed since the commissioning of the 4th hydrometallurgical Plant”, says Otabek Jabbarov, Chief Technologist of GMZ-4 of the Southern Mine Administration. – During this period, our company has become one of the leading divisions not only of the Southern Mining Administration, but also of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company. The fact that the company conducts large-scale work in accordance with the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan and the success in production is achieved thanks to the skills, research and aspirations of local personnel deserves special respect.

The team of this promising enterprise employs both dedicated young specialists with high technical and technological potential, broad knowledge, and their more experienced colleagues who stood at the origins of the plant's creation.

The design capacity of the plant is designed to process 1.8 million tons of ore per year. Thanks to the team's cohesion around a single goal, its selfless work, innovative proposals of talented specialists and technology solutions focused on work efficiency, this indicator was increased to more than 2 million tons.

Through the innovative development program of JSC NMMC, large-scale events and projects are being implemented at the plant. In the future, it is planned to increase the extraction coefficient of non-ferrous metal at the plant by 1-1.5 percent.
