Events as part of the Third Tashkent International Investment Forum continue at the International Congress Center.

Experts note that the forum is a convenient platform for demonstrating the economic capabilities of Uzbekistan and agreeing on mutually beneficial projects. Important issues are discussed at more than 40 events, such as panel sessions, roundtable discussions, presentations, and meetings of intergovernmental commissions.

We will continue to publish the opinions of representatives of foreign delegations participating in these events.

“We are happy that we were invited to this prestigious conference”, says President of the OPEC Fund for International Development Abdulhamid Alkhalifa. “Our fund is an international organization that directs funds to developing countries. Today, we cooperate with 125 countries. In particular, we work in cooperation with the public sector and governments. I would like to highlight projects to finance the energy sector. Infrastructure is essential for every country. And energy is the basis for the development of any state. Without an established energy supply system, it isn't easy to achieve success. For this reason, we finance the development of the energy sector worldwide. Among our partners are the countries of Central Asia. We also finance green projects in Uzbekistan in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. It is noteworthy that Uzbekistan pays special attention to green energy. We are glad to be participating in this process.

As previously reported, on May 1, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the President of the OPEC Fund for International Development Abdulhamid Alkhalifa as part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum program.
