Foreign press about Uzbekistan
Several Arab media published articles about the 13th International Music Festival “Sharq Taronalari” (“Melodies of the East”), held in Samarkand.

They stress that the first festival, held in 1997, was attended by representatives of 31 countries, and about 80 countries from all continents attended the current conference, along with more than 400 artists and scientists.
At the press conference with the participation of the Head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Advisor to the Minister for Information Policy Sirojiddin Usarov, in particular, it was noted that the promotion of national musical art achievements among general public, preservation and development of culture and traditions of the people, supporting talented youth in music and art, expansion of international creative ties by promoting the ideas of peace, friendship, and mutual tolerance serve as the main objectives of the festival.
At the meeting of the Turkic Universities Union at TURKSOY, Secretary General of the organization Sultan Raev noted that the rectors of specialized universities in Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan discussed the implementation of joint projects, scientific research, training and advanced training of personnel.
It was emphasized that cooperation had been established with the heads of higher education institutions and international research centers in China, France, Russia, Germany, Gambia, Oman, and Jordan.
