The State Museum of History and Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan organized an exhibition “Artist – Master of Colors”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the People’s Artist of Uzbekistan, laureate of the State Prize named after Berdakh, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Academician Jolliboy Izentayev.

The event, organized on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition, was attended by workers of culture and art, students, media representatives. The participants talked about the work and life path of the brush master.

The exhibition presents more than 20 works by the artist, kept in the museum’s funds, as well as in the Karakalpak branch of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The works reflect the unique nature of the Aral Sea region, the history of the Karakalpak people, their national traditions, personalities who have made a worthy contribution to the development of science, literature, and art.
