The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been opened in Doha, Qatar News Agency reports.

The opening ceremony of the diplomatic mission was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and the Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi.

The participants recognized that bilateral relations between the two countries are developing at a high-level thanks to the efforts of the leaders of the two countries. They noted that the embassies will undoubtedly serve to strengthen these relations further.

Bakhtiyor Saidov recalled that a diplomatic mission of Qatar was opened in Tashkent in May.
