The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria hosted a briefing on the occasion of the 31st Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by fellow citizens working in international organizations in Vienna, studying at leading universities and other representatives of the Uzbek diaspora.

Ambassador Abat Fayzullayev congratulated everyone on a significant date – the 31st Anniversary of Independence. The participants were informed about the political and socio-economic reforms carried out in recent years, the process of democratization.

It was noted that reform is carried out under the slogan “New Constitution for New Uzbekistan”. As part of the preparations for the upcoming referendum, the diplomatic mission informed about this important political event and invited everyone to take an active part in it.

The participants also got acquainted with the activities of the Embassy, ​​in particular, the full-scale interaction of Uzbekistan with Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, as well as international organizations located in Vienna.
