The Embassy of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with representatives of Latvian companies interested in establishing trade, economic, and investment cooperation with Uzbekistan in pharmaceuticals, medicine, agriculture, fisheries, the wine and spirits industry, and logistics.

The meeting participants were informed about the comprehensive reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan to support entrepreneurship and the conditions created for foreign investors, preferences, and benefits.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached on exporting Uzbekistan agricultural and wine products to Latvia, the organized employment of compatriots in Latvian companies, and the start of work on opening production facilities in pharmaceuticals and the production of dietary supplements.

It is planned to organize visits to Uzbekistan for a group of Latvian entrepreneurs to organize targeted meetings, negotiations, and B2B meetings.
