The parliamentary elections held on October 27 this year based on the mixed electoral system increased competition between political parties.

According to the proportional system, that is, based on the votes given to political parties, 26 of the 75 seats in the Legislative Chamber were taken by the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, 14 by the “Milliy Tiklanish” Democratic Party, 13 by the People’s Democratic Party, 12 by the “Adolat” Social Democratic Party and 10 by the Ecological Party.

A special session entitled “Elections 2024: Analysis of Results, Formation of a New Parliament” was held at the Debate Hall Media Center. Representatives of five political parties took part in it.

The session participants discussed the active participation of political parties in the elections based on strong competition, pre-election campaign events, and the results of an important political campaign.
