The declaration of 2025 in Uzbekistan as the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy was welcomed by the general public. Because the growing environmental problems require even more attention to their solution.

The definition of the environmental orientation of the year is particularly consistent with the ideas of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan and places even greater responsibility on it. The party also puts forward new ideas and initiatives, particularly about holding an ecological festival in Tashkent.

At the meeting held in the party’s Central Council, issues of holding an ecological festival in Tashkent were discussed in advance.

The festival will bring together masters of landscape design from different countries to create landscape compositions in Tashkent and provide them as a gift to the city. These compositions will consist of illustrations based on environmental standards in a new premium design.

The event will also include an exhibition featuring novelties of domestic and foreign ornamental plants, new organic fertilizers, and biological plant protection products in the landscape industry. Foreign and domestic specialists, dendrologists, research institutes, and experimental farms will also participate in the exhibition. This will give an impetus to developing landscape design and urban planning in Uzbekistan at a new level.
