Most of the population of Gurtepa village in Mingbulak district is engaged in wood processing (production of boxes).
More than 200 woodworking workshops operate in Tegirmonboshi, Serkharakat, Bozorboshi mahallas. They employ more than 7 thousand people. These workshops produce wooden boxes required for the export of fruit and vegetable products.
“Woodworking workshops have been organized in more than 100 houses of Tegirmonboshi mahalla”, says Karim Abdurakhmonov, a young entrepreneur. – Based on the requirements of the market, I also began to engage in this type of activity. 38 citizens work in my workshop. We prepare and deliver to customers more than three thousand boxes per day.
The peculiar business environment in the territory, along with the solution to the issue of employment, serves as an important factor in improving the living conditions of the population and increasing its wellbeing.
