The Draft State Program for 2025 has been published
11:21 / 2025-01-13

The Development Strategy Center developed the draft Presidential Decree on the state program for the current year.

It is posted on a special website for public discussion.

The draft Program includes planned measures to implement the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy for 2025, which has been declared the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy.

It defines practical measures, a list of draft regulations to be developed, and target indicators in the context of the priority areas of the National Strategy.

One of the priority areas of the country’s development in 2025 is financing projects aimed at the widespread introduction of the principles of a green economy and its adaptation to climate change.

Thus, Uzbekistan plans to support green and low-carbon development projects by attracting concessional loans and grants from international banks and organizations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, the Global Green Growth Institute, and the German Society for International Cooperation.

The project notes that the funds will reduce methane emissions in the energy sector, reduce emissions of harmful greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, and green the country’s industry.
