The heads of the Public Foundation for Support and Development of National Mass Media Nozima Davletova and Akramjon Fozilov met with UNESCO Advisor for Communications and Information Marius Lukosiunas and International Expert for Law and Democracy Toby Mendel.

The draft Information Code is being developed by the Agency of Information and Mass Communications, particularly the paragraphs on access to information, was discussed.

Special emphasis during the conversation was placed on the structure of the document and the ultimate goal of its creation.

The Mass Media Foundation is ready to provide all possible support in creating a document that benefits public interests and calls on the public and media to show active civic interest in this code.
