After the integration of science and production at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, the specialists of the plant make discoveries of world significance.

The developments of scientists “Ammonium Octamolybdate” and “Nickel-based superalloy” in Korea received international recognition. They were awarded “The Best Invention Award” by the Korean Powder Metallurgy and Materials Institute. The award was presented to the AMMC team as part of the 17th International Symposium on Novel and Nano Materials (ISNNM-2022).

Uzbek scientists received this award for the first time. It was awarded only to leading research teams from Korea and Europe.
