Uzbekistan focuses on the development of artificial intelligence.

An online meeting took place between the First Deputy Minister for the Development of ICT of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Digital Economy and E-government Issues Oleg Pekos and the World Bank experts.

According to the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the parties exchanged views on cooperation in digital technology development. The issues of the introduction of artificial intelligence technology in the sectors of Uzbekistan’s economy, including education and healthcare, were considered. Special emphasis was placed on the issues of legal regulation in the artificial intelligence.
