Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Rakhmatulla Nurimbetov had a telephone conversation with the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kairat Sarybay.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation within the CICA. They exchanged views on current issues on the regional agenda in the context of implementing the Confidence Building Measures Implementation Plan for 2023-2024.

The parties discussed issues of implementation of initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan at the CICA platform.
