Representatives of Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Serbia laid wreaths at the monument erected in honor of the dead Soviet soldiers at the memorial cemetery of Soviet soldiers in the city of Noyers-Saint-Martin, near Paris. Remains of 4.6 thousand citizens lie on the territory of the complex.

The event was also attended by representatives of the mayor’s office of the city of Noyers-Saint-Martin, deputies and senators of France, Russian and French veterans.

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan also attended the ceremony of laying wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

As reported by Dunyo News Agency, President of France Emmanuel Macron laid a wreath at the monument to Charles de Gaulle, lit a fire at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Arc de Triomphe.
