Imam Termizi International Research Center hosted an international online conference on “The contribution of Termizi scientists to the Islamic culture and the development of world civilization”.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Surkhandarya Regional Hokimiyat, the Committee for Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Imam Termizi International Research Center and other partners. About 40 scientists, researchers, ulemas from 11 countries took part in the event.

Hokim of Surkhandarya region T. Bobolov, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for interaction with public and religious organizations, Director of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan Sh. Minavarov, IRCICA Director General Mahmud Erol Kılıç, Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers S. Toshboyev, Chairman of Uzbekistan Muslims Office U. Alimov and others addressed the event.

Reports on the contribution of Termizi scientists to the world civilization, the significance of their heritage for the modern world, the features and benefits of heritage were made by famous scientists from Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. Proposals and recommendations were made for the study and widespread promotion of Termizi scientists’ heritage across the world.
