On March 20, 2025, a meeting was held between IMSAD – Association of Turkish Construction Material Producers, Uzbekistan Industrial and Construction Bank – SQB, and the leadership of Uzsanoatqurilishmateriallari to further develop bilateral cooperation.

At the meeting, a joint action plan was approved between IMSAD and SQB covering nine strategic directions. In particular: 

– Commercialization of scientific developments and strengthening cooperation between research institutions in the industry;

– Improving the quality of raw materials and standards for construction materials, modernizing national regulations based on Turkish experience; 

– Recycling industrial waste and developing mechanisms for its reuse; 

– Implementing new investment projects and attracting international brands. 

Additionally, it was noted that in 2024, the trade turnover in the construction materials sector between Uzbekistan and Türkiye amounted to $64.5 million. An agreement was also reached to organize business forums between manufacturers from both countries to expand production and meet unmet demands in construction materials.
