The Central Office of the Political Council of the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” held an online conference on “Initiatives and proposals of youth on introducing amendments and addenda to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The event is aimed at receiving proposals from young people on the implementation of large-scale tasks defined in the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan and further increasing the activity of young people in carrying out political reforms in Uzbekistan, introducing amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was attended by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, employees of the Central Office of the Political Council of the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat”, members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and the Youth Parliament at the Legislative Chamber, chairmen and members of the republican and regional councils of the youth wing of the party, activists and media representatives.

It was emphasized that the Constitution is the legal basis for the long-term development of the country and serves to increase the efficiency of the public administration system.

The initiative youth of the party, who took part in the event through the ZOOM platform from different regions of the country, expressed their opinions about the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, in particular, about the process of transition from an Action Strategy to a Development Strategy, about the vital necessity and importance of improving the Basic Law on the principle of “person – society – state”.
