A ceremonial event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Uzbekistan International Congress Hall in Tashkent.

At the event, the festive message to people from the Head of State, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was delivered by Sherzod Asadov, Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration and Press Secretary to the President.

As noted, Uzbekistan will continue to steadfastly uphold the constitutional principles of people’s power, representative democracy, and the rule of law, and will carry forward reforms in these areas with even greater resolve. It was emphasized that each provision of the Constitution must become a practical criterion in the life of the state and society. In particular, teaching the youth the essence and meaning of the Basic Law in depth and fostering their high consciousness and patriotism based on constitutional values are among the crucial tasks before us.
