A tour of Bukhara was organized for Chinese tour operators, bloggers, a group of tourism business representatives and the media.

Excursions to the sights of Bukhara's historical part were held as part of the event. The tour aimed to promote the role of ancient and eternally young Bukhara in the world community and its highly developed tourism industry.

At the event, a meeting was held with the head of Loong Air. The participants exchanged views on the region’s tourism potential and opportunities. Negotiations were also held on implementing direct charter flights from China to Bukhara to attract Chinese tourists further. The airline flies to 25 cities in China, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and Uzbekistan.
