On the eve of the greatest and dearest holiday – the 23rd anniversary of the independence of our native land, new buildings have been commissioned following reconstruction at the Chimyon Sanatorium in the Feghana District.

The Federation Council of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan has been attaching special significance to the consolidation of economic and technical capacities of health resorts operating in its system. As part of execution of the national program “Year of Healthy Child”, extensive construction works have been undertaken at the Chimyon Sanatorium.

The Chimyon health resort, located 700 meters above sea level at the Katrontogh mountain foot of the Alai Mountain Range, is distinct with a picturesque nature and clean air. Everything necessary is created here to restore health and for a comprehensive recreation. The mineral water the sanatorium boasts is renowned for its healing qualities.

Several blocks of the health resort have undergone cardinal overhaul and outfitted with modern furniture. The indoor swimming pool and gyms have been completely reconstructed. In a word, the sanatorium acquired a modern appearance following a fundamental repair for a sum exceeding 1 billion and 400 million soums.

“The cardinal reforms being carried out under the leadership of our country’s President serve the interests of people,” says the People’s Craftsman of Uzbekistan Nabijon Kadirov. “I have been improving my health at this sanatorium for a few years. The completely reconstructed buildings, the conditions and opportunities created here gladden the eye. This has become a great gift for the guests of the sanatorium on the eve of the holiday.”
