The Central Asian Open Championship kicks off in Tashkent
The Open Central Asian Handball Championship among men’s and women’s teams is being held at the Republican Training Center for Olympic and Paralympic Sports in Tashkent.
Before the competition, a meeting was held at the Handball Federation of Uzbekistan with the participation of members of the technical commission, team leaders, judges, and specialists. Issues related to the championship regulations, the judges’ composition, the games’ order, and much more were discussed.


In addition, a draw was held.
The teams of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan are participating in the championship. The competition will run until May 21.
